With lecturing experience at Gyeongin and Daegu National Universities of Education, the presenter extensively trained pre-service teachers in AI digital textbooks. He served as lead PM for the Classroom Leading Teacher Group initiative, a central part of Korea’s digital transformation, and directed research on an AI digital textbook prototype.
Outline
The instructor will conduct a demonstration lesson using the Programming: Variables and Data Types module. Participants will experience an AI-powered digital lesson as students. The session begins with a 5‑minute introduction reviewing South Korea’s AI Digital Textbook initiative, highlighting the importance of embedded AI for live instruction and explaining student-centered learning activities.
Phase 1 (20 minutes) : Students(Participants) use an AI learning assistant to receive personalized feedback on written responses, run Python code in an embedded AI environment for real‑time error detection, and follow adaptive learning paths with customized exercises. Teachers monitor progress with a live learning tracker.
Phase 2 (5 minutes) : Automated grading and AI‑generated feedback are shown.
Phase 3 (5 minutes) : Features post‑class data analysis with achievement and leader boards
Phase 4 (10 minutes) : Offers auto quiz generation tools and Q&A session.
