How DEI and SEL principles enhance learning outcomes in STEAM subjects. 3. Practical Strategies for Integrating DEI and SEL in STEAM (20 minutes) Specific strategies for embedding DEI in STEAM lessons, such as culturally responsive lesson planning, diverse representation in curriculum materials, and equitable classroom practices. Methods for incorporating SEL, like group projects that promote empathy, conflict resolution techniques, and reflective practices. 4.
