Information

We aim to create an eco-friendly water bottle made from coconut shells, reinforced with cornstarch and acacia gum, effectively preventing leaks. This biodegradable and compostable bottle will not pollute the land or harm marine life, contributing to a cleaner planet and protecting animals from the waste we generate daily.
Outline
By attending our presentation of the project, participants will learn about the impact of plastic pollution on the environment and wildlife, as well as the sustainable solutions they can adopt. They will become familiar with the innovative materials that make up our product and the concept of a circular economy. Additionally, they will take away inspiration and practical tools to contribute to sustainability in their daily lives. To engage the audience and convince them that our product has a good quality, we propose to make them create a small prototype of the bottle themselves by providing the necessary materials and guided step by step instructions to do it. This way, they will be able to see the product's effectiveness and experience the process of sustainable innovation, fostering their commitment to environmental protection. If all goes as planned, this presentation could last from 1 hour and 20 minutes to 1 hour and 40 minutes.
