During the session, participants will use Mirror Talk by Swivl to reflect on a challenging situation in the common in classrooms during student teaching and internships. Using the Mirror, participants will go through how this AI device supports coaching and mentoring of pre-service teacher candidates.

I. Introductions-1 min
2. Explain research around reflection and pre-service teacher candidates-3 minutes
3. Review artificial intellegence-1 min
4. Introduction of Mirror Talk-1 min
5. Demonstrate Mirror Talk-2 min
6. Demonstrate discussion technique for critical reflection-2 min
7. Create a reflection question with participants-1 min
8. Allow participants to use device and discuss reflection-15 min
9. Question and answer-5 min
This technology is incorporated into senior seminar classes during the last year of completing an Educator Preparation Program.
