Information
This project enriches music education by integrating technology, intercultural perspectives, and pre-Hispanic instruments, fostering digital skills, communication, and cultural awareness in primary students, with a focus on the Mexican context and appreciation for diverse musical traditions.
Outline
Attendees will be able to appreciate the virtual concert created by elementary school students from around the world, through a screen they will be able to see each child with their instrument playing a classic piece of Mexican music, inviting us to reflect on the unity and support that we can reach if we follow the example of our children.
Introduction (3 minutes)
Explanation of how technology has allowed the expansion of musical learning in different contexts.
Description of the project (10 minutes)
School context and students: Mention the reality of the elementary school and the profile of the students.
Technological tools used: Highlight the use of applications and digital platforms as key resources.
International pedagogical approach: Explain how international educational standards, such as ISTE, were integrated to foster creativity and autonomous learning.
Questions and discussion (5 minutes)
Open a space for attendees to raise questions about the global impact of the project, implementation in other countries or regions, and technological and educational challenges.
Through a QR code, teachers and other educators will be able to access the teacher’s planner, see the step by step of the project and find the way it better adapts to their own classrooms.
