Explore how Technology Nights can strengthen home-school partnerships by engaging families with innovative technology and platforms used in classrooms. This session provides strategies for planning interactive events that connect parents with technology, supporting student learning. Leave with practical ideas to create joyful, tech-driven experiences that inspire family involvement.
Outline
This session will share how two educators have successfully hosted Technology Nights at their school in order to strengthen the home-school partnership. We will share the materials we’ve created, including marketing materials for the event, examples of the technology stations that families participate in, and participant feedback. We will have physical demonstrations of a few of the station activities, as well as digital links that attendees can scan to access additional resources. We will encourage attendee participation and to explore the materials presented. The session timing will be based on attendee questions and direction of conversation. We will be responsive to attendee needs as we address the content of our session.
